Name the Domain - Name your Business

Ever since the internet began to play a role in both business and private life in the late 1980s, everything associated with a website has always been linked to the domain, web address or URL (URL stands for ‘Uniform Resource Locator’ and is the unique address of a resource on the internet).

Can my business be found easily?

Is the web address easy to read or simple to type?

These are all questions that have preoccupied every marketing and corporate communications manager right from the very start of a website’s existence.

This, of course, depends very much on the sector and the business model – whether the company operates in the B2B or B2C sector, and whether the website is purely informative or represents an online business.

Example: Here at Loevens, as part of the strategic realignment we undertake roughly every five years, we decided to simplify our company domain whilst still incorporating everything we stand for; in other words: lvnm.cc stands for LV – Loevens, NM – Nuno Marketing or Natives Marketing, and .CC for Corporate Communications.

If you have reached the point where you need to realign your corporate communications, we’d be delighted to support you! Send us your E-Mail: mail@lvnm.cc

Confitexpo 40th Anniversary

Confitexpo, the most important international exhibition for the confectionery industry in entire Latin America.

Photo AI optimised - Article by Dr. Luis Felipe Nuño Ramírez

40 Years of Confitexpo: A Map of Delicious Sweets and the Legacy of a Vision. Some dreams begin as a seed, yet carry within their DNA the strength of an entire forest. Four decades ago, my dear and much-admired friend Graciela Díaz Serrano began to shape a dream: to create a space where the magic of Mexican confectionery could find its voice.

I personally had the privilege of welcoming her and accompanying her to her first meetings, witnessing those early steps that would give shape to what we now behold with deep wonder: Confitexpo, the most important international exhibition for the confectionery industry in the whole of Latin America.

Being part of this story right from the very beginning not only fills me with boundless pride, but also renews my commitment to our beloved Mexico.

Confitexpo is much more than a business event; it is a melting pot of national unity. In a highly competitive industry, this trade fair has succeeded in forging a bond of identity, providing a golden showcase both for the major chocolate and confectionery corporations and for the very heart of our regional development and its traditional sweets.

Every year, the exhibition halls at Expo Guadalajara are transformed into a symphony of colours, aromas and innovation. This magnificent event has positioned Guadalajara at the pinnacle of meetings tourism, demonstrating that Mexico has the infrastructure, talent and warmth to bring together the entire global value chain: from raw materials and machinery to the final product.

Behind this empire of sweetness lies Graciela’s tireless dedication and the generational handover to her children, exemplary professionals who showcase our wealth to the world.

Thank you, Ms. Graciela Díaz, for showing that genuine dreams know no boundaries and for sweetening the pride and bonds of competitiveness between Latin America and the world. Congratulations on these 40 years of living history!

Creativity, Design

and Security for your Wallet

Video by ECB published on YouTube Channel

For generations, design has been an integral part of our lives. Whether it’s clothing, everyday objects, cars, or devices—

and many other things besides.

A design in your hand or wallet—the banknote design—is an expression of identity, the spirit of the times, or ideology.

After 25 years of euro banknotes in circulation—now in their second generation—the European Central Bank has decided to completely redesign the banknotes of the European single currency.

Following a decision-making process involving both experts and the public, two thematic areas were selected:

European culture—represented by well-known figures to highlight cultural diversity.

European nature— represented by birds and rivers to illustrate the transcending of borders by respecting diversity of cultures, nature and people.

The survey endet at 21st September 2026:

In Loving Memory
of Marlinde Von Ruhs (1924-2021)

Foreword:
For us, the publishers of this website and the management of Loevens OG, it was a great honour and pleasure, to have been personal friends with Ms Marlinde Von Ruhs-Jalibert.

Not only did Marlinde create artworks which are deeply connected to her teacher, Oskar Kokoschka, she also exemplified the art of living a positive life.

Starting with portraits series of well known personalities and celebrities during in her time living in Carmel in California in the US and later on as well in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Developing her positive painting style in something what she said: "I want that the people are watching my paintings and feel positive."

In her eventful life, spent between Europe and the Americas, she not only maintained family and friendship ties, but always saw herself as a ‘world-trotter’ navigating between cultures.

Her unique sense of humour, spiced with beautiful personal charme and self-deprecation, not only entertained her guests at her Soirées and Sunday-Brunches; she retained the gift of being able to laugh at herself and the life.

With the planned prominent inclusion of Marlinde’s works in the Antipodes project, we wish not only to express our gratitude for her art and friendship, but also to give a small contribution to bring Marlinde von Ruhs and her paintings to the attention of a wider audience.
The Antipodes project isn't only about Marlinde von Ruhs Artwork, even if a very representative part of the Collection contains Marlinde's paintings. The Antipodes Collection is non profit and non commercial, no painting which will be presented and described to the public is to purchase. The main reason is to get in touch with Art of the other side of the planet, for free just for the joy of the observer only.
The Editors.

Tourism Trade Shows
and Neuromarketing

The real value of tourism trade shows: Neuromarketing and future business.

In the meetings and events industry (MICE), international trade shows are far more than just venues for exchanging business cards or measuring exhibition floor space.

When analysed through the lens of business strategy and behavioural science, these events prove to be the most effective tool for building trust and mitigating risk in high-value contracts.

Behavioural economics demonstrates that major commercial decisions are neither cold nor purely automated. In international environments, face-to-face contact activates specific brain mechanisms that generate confidence between buyers and destinations. A handshake and an in-person conversation achieve what emails simply cannot: They eliminate uncertainty.

Whilst contracts are structured using logic and figures, long-term commercial alliances are consolidated through the empathy of human encounter.

Through neuromarketing, we understand that professionals select destinations guided by sensory experiences.

The stimuli within an exhibition pavilion — colours, technology, or gastronomy — directly impact the emotional brain, anchoring the destination in the buyer’s memory.
Furthermore, trade shows function as neutral ground that facilitates business across different cultures, turning diversity into a competitive advantage.
However, true financial success does not conclude when the pavilion lights are turned off. Profitability is ultimately defined by the consistency of post-event follow-up.

Closing a deal is not the end of the journey, but rather the beginning of a commercial relationship destined to grow over time, generating new investments and joint projects.

Native Marketing

by W.A. Schratter, Loevens March 2026 - actualised Sept. 2026

Native advertising is based on authenticity and involves creating promotional content that blends seamlessly with the surrounding content on a platform.

Marketing is communication to the (your) market. Native Marketing is like telling friends about your impressions, observations or news.

We recommend to focus in Market-Communication on your own Business (Brand) Webseite. More native informaiton about your business should not be available anywere else.

It aims to be less intrusive and more engaging than traditional advertising.

Native Ads mirror the format, look and feel of the content they are embedded within, whether it's a website, social media feed, or video platform.

Native market communication or Native Marketing is orientated on the user/readers preference of topics. Not on algorithms only, by publishing the most possible volumes to the person on the other side of the screen.

Here's a more detailed explanation and key features of Native Marketing:

Seamless Integration: Native ads are designed to look and feel like the platform's natural content.
Non-Intrusive: Unlike banner ads, native ads don't disrupt the user experience.Targeted Content: Native ads can be highly targeted to specific audiences based on their interests and demographics.

Increased Engagement: By blending in, native ads can be more engaging and lead to higher click-through rates.

Examples of Native Advertising:
Sponsored Content: Articles or videos created by brands that appear on news websites or other platforms.

In-Feed Ads: Ads that appear within social media feeds, such as on Facebook or Instagram, designed to look like organic posts.
Promoted Listings: Listings on e-commerce sites that are paid for by a brand but appear alongside organic listings.

Benefits of Native Marketing - Improved Brand Perception:
Native ads can build trust and credibility by delivering valuable content rather than just pushing a product. Higher Engagement: Users are more likely to interact with content that feels natural and relevant to them. Increased Visibility: Native ads can reach a wider audience and generate more traffic to a brand's website or landing page as well generates a better position or ranking in search engines. Reduced Ad Block Usage: Since native ads are not easily identified as traditional ads, they are less likely to be blocked by ad blockers.

ANTIPODES

Antipodes (from the Greek ἀντί antí, ‘against’, and πούς poús, ‘foot’, literally ‘opposite feet’; Latinised as Antipodes) is the term used to describe the regions on the opposite side of the Earth, as well as the people living there. Figuratively speaking, the feet of the antipodes face those of the person being referred to.

The Antipodes Collection chose this name because the artists and their works mostly come from opposite sides of the globe. For example, America and Europe, or Europe and Africa, or North and South America.

One of the key figures in the Antipodes Collection is the international artist Marlinde von Ruhs-Jalibert (1924–2021) pupil of Oscar Kokoschka.
